Some days I find myself in a land of quick fixes, 21 Day Transformation Programs, 4 Day Diets, I get so inspired which is quickly followed by being disheartened, and then I come back to the practice.
That is back to my practice, my yoga practice. Its always evolving and changing based on what I'm learning and what I'm being taught. It changes, and grows, and some days its just .... ordinary. And that is quite welcoming, as its just my practice. Not anyone elses, not a plan from a class, not an on line class, but just my own practice. And for me its home, its grounding and comforting.
So, I realise finally, that true learning and transformation takes time. It takes simmering, tending to and attention.
Its not a quick fix.
But for me its a home. Its a time devoted to me and my practice. Sutra 1.1, Now, the practice of Yoga. Its a coming home for me, back into my body, my mind calms down (because man it gets so busy in there) and my spirit has time to flourish. Ideas come, inspiration flows and I feel .... home.
Holy & happy Oms.
