I'm getting excited and a bit nervous to teach my Gratitude Workshop on May 2nd.
Its been a long time putting this together and consolidating things I've learned into this workshop.
But whats sort of cracked me up this week, is in the gathering of information I've been through quite the week.
I won't go into it but its sort of looks like everything going right (for me, which probably looks different to you and my husband!) and then turning it all on its head, upside down, inside out and then thrown out some sort of gooey recycling machine.
All this can be discussed in Yogic terms, of Craving and Aversion. It can keep us in a head spin if we don't watch out, or watch ourselves.
To get myself "right side up" (thank you http://www.sunroseyoga.com) I drew my attention in, focused on my breath, did a serious round of 3 min mantra chanting, and began to find myself in some sort of centre.
And so, the reason I talk about this is that often we are running toward things/people/events or desiring more things/people/events which can be very very v e r y tiring!
So when you find yourself going through this sort of scenario, ask yourself, what helps me get right side up? What helps balance you? And then.
